PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a skilled Aircraft Electrical Mechanic to join our elite JAWACS team. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of aircraft electrical systems modification and maintenance—ensuring mission-critical readiness and safety for advanced aerospace platforms.
Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.
What You’ll Do
Perform electrical modifications on and off aircraft, including complex connector terminations (shielded wires, coaxial cables, fiber optics).
Interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, and retrofit requirements to execute precise electrical repairs.
Troubleshoot and test aircraft electrical and environmental systems.
Install, seal, wrap, and route wire harnesses and cables per standard processes.
Conduct operational and quality checks, ensuring compliance with DOD and company directives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (General Mechanics, Structures, Avionics) to meet project goals.
Train and mentor junior team members; may lead teams on complex tasks.
Maintain certifications and adhere to safety protocols, including Lock Out/Tag Out procedures.
What You Bring
Required:
4+ years of experience in aircraft electrical systems and modifications.
Strong understanding of electrical/electronic theories and systems.
Ability to work rotating shifts and lift up to 35 lbs.
High school diploma or GED.
Preferred:
Experience with Depot Level/Modification maintenance.
Ability to operate forklifts, mobile cranes, and electric-powered elevating equipment.

Pay Details: $40.17 per hour
