Pay Rate: $49.98 – $59.79/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday | First Shift (6 AM–3 PM / 9 AM–6 PM) | Optional 9x80 Schedule
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Structural Analysis Engineer to support high-profile aerospace programs at our Philadelphia Design Center. From next-generation aircraft to advanced space systems, your contributions will play a vital role in the design, validation, and certification of mission-critical components. This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
As a Structural Analysis Engineer, you will:
Perform structural analysis using classical methods and finite element tools to ensure components meet performance and durability standards.
Support test and validation efforts to demonstrate compliance with design and regulatory requirements.
Contribute to the documentation and substantiation of structural integrity for a variety of aerospace platforms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a structured, engineering-focused environment.
Work under the guidance of experienced engineers to solve complex structural challenges.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related technical field (ABET accreditation preferred).
Experience with structural analysis techniques, including classical hand calculations and finite element analysis (FEA).
Proficiency in structural analysis tools such as NASTRAN, ANSYS, or Abaqus.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Experience with aerospace structural analysis.
Familiarity with industry-standard tools and processes.
Ability to interpret and apply technical specifications and standards.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
