Summary:
Focus on equipment development, implementation, and improvement.
Responsibilities include reviewing electrical schematics and control panel designs, troubleshooting technical issues, and managing projects related to automation systems.
Evaluate program and project requirements to develop innovative equipment concepts and design solutions.
Analyze technical data to assess the impact on engineering design, usability, and production rate.
Ensure designs meet standards for safety, producibility, maintainability, reliability, ergonomics, and regulatory compliance.
Create and release bid and purchase specifications for sourcing equipment from suppliers.
Troubleshoot production issues related to quality, safety, and repeatability.
Implement solutions and maintain hardware configuration and supporting documentation.
Conduct equipment studies and provide recommendations for asset utilization or disposition.
Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field)
2+ years of project management experience on complex technical projects, including equipment evaluation and selection
1+ year of experience with Java, SQL, or similar programming languages
1+ year working with electrical system design standards
Experience with automation and robotics
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
