General Overview:
This position applies broad knowledge of Boeing design and engineering principles to support product and process integrity throughout the entire lifecycle. The engineer will lead efforts in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, interim repair solutions, and product/process improvement, serving as a technical expert in post-production, supplier support, and field environments.

Key Responsibilities:
• Apply advanced engineering principles to resolve product/process issues throughout the product lifecycle
• Lead investigations and develop interim and final engineering solutions for non-conforming conditions
• Conduct root cause analysis and develop repair dispositions
• Recommend and manage complex resolution plans for safety-critical reported problems
• Support Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and participate in design reviews
• Act as a representative of the engineering team in build through post-production phases
• Ensure supplier and build partner compliance with Boeing standards
• Draft and develop customer-facing communication to support safe operation and maintenance
• Support or lead field teams for disabled product repair or accident investigation
• Design jacking and shoring schemes, and interim structural repairs
• Conduct static strength analyses and lead non-destructive testing (NDT) procedure development
• Develop and deliver technical training for internal and external stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
• Prior MRB Certification (Material Review Board authority)
• Previous Boeing experience is required
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance
Education / Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
