Make an Impact in Aerospace Procurement

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Procurement Agent to support a critical aerospace program in Wichita, KS. In this role, you will drive strategic subcontract management, supplier engagement, and best-value sourcing—helping ensure our supply chain delivers superior quality, compliance, and performance. If you have a strong background in defense procurement and thrive in a cross-functional environment, this role is your opportunity to influence success at every level.

What You’ll Do Daily:

• Manage subcontract agreements compliant with FAR/DFARS regulations, ensuring proper flow-downs and contract adherence

• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, driving contract compliance and high supplier performance

• Lead supplier competitions using best-value selection criteria to identify and negotiate with top suppliers

• Collaborate closely with engineering, finance, and program management teams to align procurement with operational goals

• Support proposal development by assisting in cost estimating, financial analysis, and creating compliant subcontract proposals

• Focus on procurement within advanced composites, machining, and structural supplier categories

What You Bring:

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of supply chain, procurement, or subcontracting experience in the defense industry (Level 4+)

• In-depth knowledge of FAR/DFARS requirements and subcontract flow-down compliance

• Proven ability to run supplier competitions and negotiate based on best-value principles

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to manage supplier relationships and resolve issues

• Experience mentoring junior team members and sharing best practices

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in estimating, financial analysis, and proposal development

• Familiarity with advanced composites, advanced machining, and aerospace structural suppliers
