JOB TITLE: CNC Machinist

PAY RATE: $38.89/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

Schedule: Monday Thursday, 10-hour shifts (Minimum 40 hours/week) with occasional overtime

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

Fabricate parts and fixtures using CNC machines, lathes, and sheet metal tools

Interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering documentation to build mechanical equipment

Assemble lower-level components into complete cabinet assemblies

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address design and process challenges

Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing regarding fabrication issues

Work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision

Requirements:

5+ years in mechanical fabrication, CNC machining, or military product maintenance

Strong understanding of blueprint/schematic interpretation and mechanical equipment fabrication

Proficient in Microsoft Office and software tools for fabrication tasks

Skilled in determining metal stretch based on type and bend radius

Ability to fabricate from layout, schematic, BOM, and engineering practices

Strong problem-solving and communication skills

CNC programming using Catia-based software

Experience sourcing and procuring materials

Familiarity with Test Equipment engineering standards

Prior leadership or team lead experience is a plus

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
