JOB TITLE: Aircraft Cabinet Finisher II - Weekend Day Shift
LOCATION: Savannah, GA
PAY RATE: $25.65/hour

Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

Apply finishes using spray equipment and manual/mechanical methods

Utilize various materials and tools such as sandpaper, polishes, adhesives, solvents, and power tools

Follow all safety, 5S, and housekeeping procedures; use personal protective equipment to protect aircraft interiors (PTP)

Use the material tracking system to create part demands, log squawks, and sign off work

Collaborate with leads and experienced technicians to implement process improvements that enhance safety, reduce costs, and improve cycle time and labor efficiency, using Lean Six Sigma and other methods

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required

Minimum of 2 years of experience in wood finishing

Aerospace industry experience preferred

Basic knowledge of cabinet finishing processes and products

Must be computer literate

Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

Must be able to climb ladders/stairs, work in confined areas, lift up to 40 lbs, and work any shift

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
