PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer (Analog Design) for a full-time, 12-month consultant role in Woodland Hills, CA (91367). As an Analog Design Engineer, you will support the development of advanced defense products by designing and analyzing analog electronic circuits. Your work will influence the next generation of aerospace systems, from conceptual design to verification and characterization. This role is ideal for engineers who thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and are passionate about delivering high-impact solutions.
This position requires a security clearance, and candidates are required to be U.S. Citizens.
Perform analog circuit design and analysis for new product development.
Lead system-level requirements analysis and translate into detailed subsystem designs.
Design and simulate circuits using tools such as Mentor Xpedition, Cadence, or Altium Designer.
Conduct circuit modeling, simulation, and signal/power integrity analyses on PCB layouts.
Support design verification and characterization through rigorous testing.
Troubleshoot and validate circuit performance against specifications.
Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 2+ years of engineering experience, or a Master’s degree with no experience required.
Proven experience in analog circuit design, modeling, and simulation.
Proficiency in schematic capture using Mentor Xpedition, Cadence, or Altium Designer.
Hands-on experience in circuit and sub-system testing and troubleshooting.
Must be able to work onsite full-time in Woodland Hills, CA.
Experience with PCB design using Mentor Xpedition Designer and AMS.
Familiarity with HyperLynx for signal and power integrity analysis.
Experience with PSpice and analog circuit verification techniques.
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably with a focus on analog circuit design.
