Advanced Manufacturing Engineer

Description:
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to support advanced manufacturing processes through C/C# programming, mechanical assembly, and electronic troubleshooting. This hybrid role blends software development with real-world application in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and optimize manufacturing processes using C/C# software development
  • Interpret schematics and perform hands-on soldering and mechanical assembly
  • Support layout and testing of FPGA and PWA/PWB boards
  • Use lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters) to troubleshoot and validate systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production goals and improve efficiency
  • Travel up to 25% to support manufacturing operations and installations
Required Skills & Experience
  • 2–5 years of experience in software development (C, C#, C++)
  • Hands-on soldering and mechanical assembly experience
  • Ability to read and follow wiring schematics
  • Basic understanding of electronics and manufacturing processes
Bonus Skills
  • Experience with FPGA and PWA/PWB board layout
  • Familiarity with Fusion, Expedition, or Eagle software
  • Proficiency with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters)
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles

Pay Details: $55.00 to $60.00 per hour
