Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
Perform final inspections and verify component installations on commercial aircraft.
Support of system operational testing, troubleshooting, and validation processes.
Work in a flight line environment and are expected to ensure safety and quality standards are met throughout preflight and post-flight activities.
Perform verification and inspection of final component installations and aircraft system functionality
Inspect and verify troubleshooting results for pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and avionics systems
Conduct inspections during pre-flight and post-flight checks, and of maintenance/modification work prior to delivery
Document issues identified during operation and testing of aircraft
Assist with system and sub-system inspections and maintenance tasks in preparation for aircraft delivery
Plan and arrange tasks independently with guidance from a lead technician
Identify and document non-conformances with minimal supervision
Maintain all required certifications necessary to perform assigned duties
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Must be able to work any shift, including days, nights, and weekends
3+ years of aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing experience
3+ years of quality inspection and/or auditing experience
3+ years of experience in flight line operations
3+ years of experience working in team environments
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
FAA Airframe & Power Plant (A&P) License or signed FAA Form 8610-2
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR)
Desired Skills:
Experience with the 787 program
Familiarity with Foreign Object Debris (FOD) prevention practices
Formal or informal team leadership experience
Proficiency in systems such as REDARS and PSDS
Experience with creating and managing various forms of Non-Conformance Records (NCRs) and Emergent Process Documents (EPDs)
