Contract Length: 12 months (with potential extension)

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

Responsible for building cable harnesses according to wiring diagrams, form boards, and written instructions provided by Mechanical Engineering.

Must be able to work to Class 3 IPC standards and interpret schematic drawings.

Harness assembly using soldering, crimping, and plugging contacts into connectors

Torquing backshells and assembling components to high-reliability standards

Performing continuity checks on in-process and completed work

Conducting quality inspections per IPC specifications

Disassembling, modifying, reworking, and reassembling prototype or experimental assemblies

Using hand/power tools, jigs, and saws to complete tasks from drawings and diagrams

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED

1 2 years building cable harnesses

1 2 years working to IPC-WHMA-A-620, IPC-A-610, and IPC-J-STD standards

1 2 years reading and interpreting engineering schematics

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
