JOB TITLE: Entry-Level Avionics Installer I 2nd Shift
LOCATION: Savannah, GA
PAY RATE: $25.65/hour

Contract Length: 12 months (with potential extension)

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

Assist in the removal and installation of avionics and electrical components, fabrication of wire harnesses, installations, terminations, ring-out, and functional testing of avionics/electrical systems.

Assist in installations, modifications, and fabrication of wiring, electrical components, fixtures, and associated equipment in accordance with blueprints, worksheets, and engineering drawings

Support task completion within the designated timeframe

Help maintain required logs and records

Comply with company programs and regulations, including FOD prevention, tool control, the 5-S program, and all safety protocols

Properly care for and maintain shop tools and equipment as assigned

Perform other duties as required

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required

Entry-level position

Six (6) months of accredited schooling in aviation electronics or general electrical experience preferred

General knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and customer specifications

Must be able to use a multimeter

Technical Certificate in aircraft electrical assembly preferred and/or successful completion of a current-year youth apprenticeship program sponsored in the area of expertise

Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with general software programs

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
