JOB TITLE: RS Aircraft Interior Installation Technician I
LOCATION: Dallas, TX
PAY RATE: $24.50/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

Works under close supervision to remove, install, and/or fabricate aircraft interiors following company operating procedures and quality standards.

Safely perform removal, installation, and/or fabrication of aircraft interior components such as galleys, closets, lavatories, side ledges, bulkheads, doors, and vanity ledge fill panels.

Coordinate with supervision and Inspection to ensure compliance with Repair Station procedures, FAA requirements, and internal quality standards.

Use the material tracking system to create parts demand, log squawks, and complete required documentation.

Follow standard operating procedures for tools and equipment including hand tools, band saws, shears, sanders, and brakes. Maintain and care for assigned shop equipment and tools.

Comply with safety protocols, 5S standards, and housekeeping policies.

Use personal protective equipment as required and proactively address unsafe conditions.

May participate in flight testing in support of aircraft certification and final phase testing as needed.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required

Applicable installation, fabrication, or related experience preferred; trade school experience a plus

Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

Ability to work any shift

Must be able to climb ladders and stairs, work in confined spaces, and lift up to 40 lbs

Basic computer literacy required

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
