Job Details:
Contract Length: 12 months (with potential extension)

Summary:
Responsible for designing and fabricating equipment used in the development and production of tactical hardware.
Fabricate electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies from engineering drawings in a fast-paced environment.
Updating job status, quality inspections, and implementing engineering changes using various computer-based systems.
Fabricate and solder components on circuit cards and electro-mechanical subassemblies
Build and install wiring harnesses, including connector pinning/de-pinning and mounting hardware
Assemble lower-level components into full cabinet systems (single and multi-bay) for delivery to Engineering and Manufacturing
Collaborate with engineers, drafters, procurement, and quality personnel to resolve fabrication challenges
Maintain accurate build and quality documentation using software tools and Microsoft products
Requirements:
High School Diploma
Minimum of 3 years experience in cable/harness fabrication, SMT board assembly, or military-grade maintenance
Associate s Degree in Electronics or related field
Solder certification to J-STD-001, IPC-7711/7721
Experience sourcing and procuring test materials
Familiarity with test equipment and engineering documentation standards
Prior certification in soldering and harness assembly to MIL-STD requirements
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering documentation
Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting design or process issues
Proficient with Microsoft Office and computer-based manufacturing tools
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
