Schedule: Monday–Friday | 1st Shift (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM)
Pay Rate: $46.33 per hour
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.

We're seeking an Employee Development Specialist to take the lead in shaping workforce readiness across multiple aerospace programs. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in transforming complex technical documentation into hands-on learning experiences that elevate performance and precision on the production floor.
You will influence training standards, support skills development, and enable consistent, high-quality execution across multiple U.S. manufacturing sites.
Conduct learning needs analysis and define measurable learning objectives.
Design and author Structured On-the-Job Training (OJT) instructions for Aircraft Mechanics using supplier-based development tools.
Review existing engineering processes and technical work instructions to build training content aligned with job-specific competencies.
Convert complex technical documentation into clear, engaging, and effective instructional materials using Microsoft Office Suite.
Partner with functional stakeholders including:
Learning Program Managers, Instructional Designers, Coaches, and Trainers
IT professionals (internal and external)
Project Managers and Manufacturing Leaders
Ensure standardization across programs while customizing materials to reflect unique production priorities and work environments.
Support skill development across both union and non-union teams at multiple aerospace sites nationwide.
Coach individuals and groups in real-time performance environments to reinforce training outcomes.
Required Qualifications:
Experience analyzing engineering processes and work instructions for training content development.
Proficiency using SAP for reviewing and interpreting technical documentation.
Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Experience using Tableau or similar tools for performance data analysis and visualization.
Strong communication, planning, and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
Ability to manage multiple programs and priorities simultaneously.
Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g., Bachelor’s degree) and 10 or more years of related work experience;
or a Master’s degree plus 8 years of related experience;
or 14+ years of equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
Background in instructional design or workplace learning in aerospace, defense, or manufacturing environments.
Experience supporting training initiatives across multiple production sites.
Familiarity with LMS platforms and digital learning tools.
Ability to navigate both unionized and non-unionized settings effectively.
