What You’ll Do
In this role, you won’t just turn wrenches—you’ll bring flight systems to life. You'll:
Conduct detailed pre- and post-flight inspections of avionics and instrumentation systems
Maintain and troubleshoot prototype aircraft electronics and electrical systems
Assist with installation, calibration, and testing of data acquisition and flight test equipment
Support test operations with activities like towing, weighing, and configuring aircraft
Operate and interpret test equipment to ensure accurate system performance
Work closely with engineers on test setups, system validation, and data integrity
Travel as needed to support flight testing at offsite locations
Take part in process improvements that enhance safety, accuracy, and innovation
What You Bring
Required:
1+ year of experience in aerospace, avionics, or related electrical systems work
Training or coursework in basic avionics or electronics
Ability to read and interpret aircraft schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints
Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Computer proficiency with flight operations systems and tools
Preferred:
Familiarity with data acquisition systems and test instrumentation
Experience working on experimental or prototype aircraft
Understanding of avionics technologies, physics, and flight test principles
