JOB TITLE: Aircraft Technician II - 2nd Shift
LOCATION: Savannah, GA
PAY RATE: $32.18/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Are you a U.S. person as defined under ITAR regulations? Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role? Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary?

Summary:

Perform complex inspections, repairs, and modifications on aircraft with minimal supervision.

Communicate effectively to understand work assignments and ensure task completion.

Coordinate with leadership and Inspection Department to meet FAA and company documentation requirements.

Accurately complete CMP cards, work orders, and required paperwork in a timely manner.

Follow quality standards, ensuring all work meets specifications.

Safely handle and identify customer property, storing components securely.

Operate ground support equipment (e.g., power carts, hydraulic lifts, forklifts) per SOPs.

Assist with aircraft movement in hangar and ramp areas.

Mentor and provide guidance to less experienced technicians.

Protect customer property at all times.

Safely collect and dispose of waste materials (fuels, oils, rags, etc.).

Maintain a clean and organized work environment using 6S and Lean practices.

Properly use and return company tools and equipment.

Follow all safety rules; use PPE and address unsafe conditions immediately.

Utilize material tracking systems for parts, labor, and squawk management.

Support aircraft certification and flight testing as required.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED

Relevant work experience

Working knowledge of FAA regulations, process specifications, and company policies

Familiarity with Repair Station and Quality Control manuals

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
