About the Role
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Analyst to support a high-impact initiative in the aviation industry. This role is critical in enhancing the development and training of aircraft mechanics by deploying a structured On-the-Job Training (OJT) tool across multiple sites and programs.

What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will lead and support a cross-functional effort that bridges manufacturing, training, and process improvement. Key responsibilities include:

• Managing complex projects aimed at deploying an OJT tool for mechanic training across various aviation programs.

• Collaborating with IT teams, instructional developers, learning program managers, coaches, and manufacturing leaders to ensure alignment.

• Driving standardization while adapting to individual program needs based on work instructions, skill requirements, rate, and complexity.

• Coordinating activities across multiple sites and stakeholder groups, including both union and non-union environments.

• Analyzing and interpreting operational and training data using tools like SAP and Tableau to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.

• Leading process assessments and coaching teams on continuous improvement and leadership best practices.

• Supporting strategy development and performance metrics tracking to achieve enterprise goals.

Required Qualifications

• Project management experience in a technical or manufacturing environment

• Strong understanding of engineering processes

• Proficiency with Tableau and SAP

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)

• Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the aviation or aerospace industry

• Background in learning and development or instructional design

• Experience in union and non-union work environments

• Familiarity with large-scale training or workforce transformation initiatives
