Location: 100% remote, ideally able to work central time zone | Shift: 1st shift 7:30 am - 4:00 pm central | Pay Rate: $61.07 - $76.10
About the Role
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Analyst to support a high-impact initiative in the aviation industry. This role is critical in enhancing the development and training of aircraft mechanics by deploying a structured On-the-Job Training (OJT) tool across multiple sites and programs.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you will lead and support a cross-functional effort that bridges manufacturing, training, and process improvement. Key responsibilities include:
Managing complex projects aimed at deploying an OJT tool for mechanic training across various aviation programs.
Collaborating with IT teams, instructional developers, learning program managers, coaches, and manufacturing leaders to ensure alignment.
Driving standardization while adapting to individual program needs based on work instructions, skill requirements, rate, and complexity.
Coordinating activities across multiple sites and stakeholder groups, including both union and non-union environments.
Analyzing and interpreting operational and training data using tools like SAP and Tableau to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Leading process assessments and coaching teams on continuous improvement and leadership best practices.
Supporting strategy development and performance metrics tracking to achieve enterprise goals.
Required Qualifications
Project management experience in a technical or manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of engineering processes
Proficiency with Tableau and SAP
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the aviation or aerospace industry
Background in learning and development or instructional design
Experience in union and non-union work environments
Familiarity with large-scale training or workforce transformation initiatives
