Summary:

Strong background in real-time embedded C/C++ development and demonstrated technical leadership to support the development, integration, and maintenance of real-time embedded applications.

Typical applications include:

Image processing

Target detection and tracking

Missile guidance, navigation, and control algorithms

System control and built-in test

The selected candidate will work in an Agile Scrum environment using a Linux operating system on multi-core or MicroBlaze real-time processors.

Requirements:

Active Secret Clearance preferred

Interim Secret Clearance required to start

Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles

C++ (version 11 or higher) must be more than marginal; candidates must have worked predominantly in C++

Complex problem solving using data structures and algorithms

Deep understanding of Real-Time Operating System (RTOS) concepts in embedded systems

Proficient in both C and C++

Experience with object-oriented development involving communication protocols such as:

UART

Ethernet

DDS

PCIe

Experience with software/firmware interface development

Familiarity with software configuration and version control tools such as GitLab, Bitbucket, or equivalent

Understanding of DevSecOps practices, including:

Containerized development and deployment environments

Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)

Automated testing frameworks

Missile launchers and system communication

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
