Senior Advanced Mechanical Engineer

About the Role
As a Sr Advanced Mechanical Engineer, you will support engineering teams in preparing mechanical layouts, selecting equipment, defining BOMs, and ensuring successful project execution. You’ll play a key role in both design and on-site commissioning, ensuring optimal equipment distribution and process flow.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Contribution
Prepare mechanical engineering drawings and layouts using CAD tools.
Integrate multi-level material handling flows.
Support site commissioning and ensure equipment performance.
Contribute to continuous improvement through lessons learned.
Planning & Control
Deliver 2D/3D CAD work on time and within quality standards.
Follow project plans, budgets, and schedules.
Processes & Tools
Apply standard design practices and tools for accurate modeling.
Ensure compliance with project specifications and suggest process improvements.
Risk & Opportunity
Assist in risk assessments during commissioning.
Follow mitigation strategies during equipment distribution.
Customer Interaction
Participate in project reviews and support internal/external customer requests.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
8+ years of industrial experience.
Strong experience with conveyor systems and material handling.
Proficiency in CAD software and mechanical layout design.
Willingness to travel extensively (70%).
Preferred:
Experience in cross-disciplinary engineering teams.
Strong communication and project coordination skills.
Familiarity with commissioning processes and field adjustments.
