PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Sr Advanced Mechanical Engineer to support high-impact projects across the country. About the Role 

As a Sr Advanced Mechanical Engineer, you will support engineering teams in preparing mechanical layouts, selecting equipment, defining BOMs, and ensuring successful project execution. You’ll play a key role in both design and on-site commissioning, ensuring optimal equipment distribution and process flow. 

Key Responsibilities 

Technical Contribution 

• Prepare mechanical engineering drawings and layouts using CAD tools. 

• Integrate multi-level material handling flows. 

• Support site commissioning and ensure equipment performance. 

• Contribute to continuous improvement through lessons learned. 

Planning & Control 

• Deliver 2D/3D CAD work on time and within quality standards. 

• Follow project plans, budgets, and schedules. 

Processes & Tools 

• Apply standard design practices and tools for accurate modeling. 

• Ensure compliance with project specifications and suggest process improvements. 

Risk & Opportunity 

• Assist in risk assessments during commissioning. 

• Follow mitigation strategies during equipment distribution. 

Customer Interaction 

• Participate in project reviews and support internal/external customer requests. 

Qualifications 

Required: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 

• 8+ years of industrial experience. 

• Strong experience with conveyor systems and material handling. 

• Proficiency in CAD software and mechanical layout design. 

• Willingness to travel extensively (70%). 

Preferred: 

• Experience in cross-disciplinary engineering teams. 

• Strong communication and project coordination skills. 

• Familiarity with commissioning processes and field adjustments.
