PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented Industrial/Manufacturing Engineer to join our aviation manufacturing team. This is an entry-level, full-time, fully on-site opportunity on 1st shift—perfect for recent graduates ready to make a real-world impact in the aerospace industry. You’ll help shape how cutting-edge aircraft components are produced, optimized, and improved to meet the highest standards in aviation.

What You’ll Do Every Day:

As a critical contributor to our manufacturing operations, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, efficient, and compliant production. Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Designing and modifying assembly line layouts for maximum efficiency.

• Creating and implementing capital projects that enhance production performance.

• Developing procedures for complex manufacturing and repair processes including disassembly, reassembly, and installations.

• Ensuring production processes comply with statistical process control standards.

• Implementing design improvements to reduce cost and increase product quality.

• Auditing existing products and manufacturing processes for quality, efficiency, and compliance.

• Solving real-time production issues and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.

• Participating in design reviews and making recommendations on tools, materials, and test equipment.

• Supporting efforts in technology transfer, pilot production, and mass manufacturing scale-up.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering.

• 0–3 years of related experience (recent graduates welcome).

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Analytical mindset with an attention to detail.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Experience or familiarity with:

  • Statistical Process Control (SPC), Six Sigma, or DMAIC methodologies.

  • Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, or continuous improvement programs like 6S.

  • CAD tools, ProE modeling, and 3D printing.

  • SAP or similar enterprise systems.

• Project management experience or training is a plus.
