At PDS Tech Commercial, we’re seeking skilled and safety-driven Flight Readiness Technician Inspectors to support the team in North Charleston, SC. In this role, you’ll be the final checkpoint before takeoff — performing inspections, troubleshooting, and validating aircraft functionality to ensure every delivery meets the highest safety and performance standards.
Conduct pre-flight and post-flight checks, final component installations, and systems functionality testing.
Inspect pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and avionics systems to isolate and document mechanical or electrical/electronic faults.
Perform rework, modifications, and maintenance tasks on aircraft to prepare for delivery.
Verify the accuracy and quality of work performed during installation and functional tests.
Support system and sub-system pre-delivery inspections.
Coordinate tasks with team leads, with work reviewed upon completion for adequacy.
Work any shift required by operations, including nights and weekends.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
High School Diploma/GED and typically 4+ years of related experience, or equivalent (e.g. Associate degree + 2 years).
Willingness and availability to work any shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd), including weekends.
FAA Airframe & Power Plant (A&P) license
Minimum of 1 year of experience in aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing.
Minimum of 1 year of avionics and/or electrical systems experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Team environment or team leadership experience.
Background in airline, MRO, or overhaul operations.
Comfortable using computing systems and diagnostic tools.
