Your Mission: Ensuring Airworthiness and Excellence

At PDS Tech Commercial, we’re seeking skilled and safety-driven Flight Readiness Technician Inspectors to support the team in North Charleston, SC. In this role, you’ll be the final checkpoint before takeoff — performing inspections, troubleshooting, and validating aircraft functionality to ensure every delivery meets the highest safety and performance standards.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Conduct pre-flight and post-flight checks, final component installations, and systems functionality testing.

• Inspect pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and avionics systems to isolate and document mechanical or electrical/electronic faults.

• Perform rework, modifications, and maintenance tasks on aircraft to prepare for delivery.

• Verify the accuracy and quality of work performed during installation and functional tests.

• Support system and sub-system pre-delivery inspections.

• Coordinate tasks with team leads, with work reviewed upon completion for adequacy.

• Work any shift required by operations, including nights and weekends.

What You’ll Bring

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• High School Diploma/GED and typically 4+ years of related experience, or equivalent (e.g. Associate degree + 2 years).

• Willingness and availability to work any shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd), including weekends.

• FAA Airframe & Power Plant (A&P) license

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing.

• Minimum of 1 year of avionics and/or electrical systems experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Team environment or team leadership experience.

• Background in airline, MRO, or overhaul operations.

• Comfortable using computing systems and diagnostic tools.
