JOB TITLE: Aerospace Buyer - Contract
LOCATION: Mesa, AZ
PAY RATE: $52/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Are you a U.S. person as defined under ITAR regulations? Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role? Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary?

Summary:

Manage purchase orders from award through receipt, including AOG and expedited requests

Ensure 3-way match for vendor invoices and resolve discrepancies with accounting

Issue purchase orders per contracts/agreements and maintain accurate procurement records

Build and sustain strong supplier and vendor relationships

Report procurement metrics to Director (on-time delivery, quality, price variance, etc.)

Ensure compliance with NDAs, export regulations, and contractual obligations

Stay current on industry and aerospace manufacturing standards and trends

Requirements:

Bachelor s degree (Supply Chain or Engineering preferred) or equivalent experience

Must have prior experience as a Buyer in the Aerospace industry

Aerospace procurement experience, ideally in a complex manufacturing environment

Skilled in ERP/MRP systems (Oracle preferred), Microsoft Office Suite, and project management tools

Experience with product lifecycle management, risk/configuration management, and requirements management

Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and organizational skills

Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

Desired Skills:

Working knowledge of aerospace drawings, specs, and manufacturing processes

Six Sigma Certification

APICS CPIM

PMP Certification
