Location: Kinston, NC 28504
Schedule: Full-Time, primarily 2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM); flexibility for other shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed
Pay Rate: $34.00- $37.00 per hour

What You’ll Do
As an Assembly Technician, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
MUST HAVE: Previous aircraft assembly experience
Reading and interpreting blueprints, work orders, and specifications to assemble and install parts and components to precise quality requirements.
Performing both manual and automated assembly operations, including drilling, sealing, fastening, and countersinking.
Using precision measuring tools to verify dimensions and ensuring parts meet quality and safety standards.
Completing functional testing, rework, and inspections during and after assembly progression.
Performing routine maintenance tasks on machines and equipment, such as replacing filters and maintaining lubrication levels.
Supporting a smooth product flow by moving materials, tools, and assemblies within the manufacturing area.
Training and coaching team members to support continuous improvement and productivity.
Documenting discrepancies and collaborating with teams to resolve issues promptly.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
Aircraft Assembly experience
Proven experience in assembly, manufacturing, or a related technical field.
Ability to stand and work for an entire 8-hour shift.
Flexibility to work assigned shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Proficiency with mechanical and electronic measuring tools.
Familiarity with general assembly tasks, including drilling, sealing, varnishing, painting, countersinking, and fastening.
Preferred:
Experience with blueprint reading and interpretation.
Cross-training in inspection and SIA qualification.
Proven ability to troubleshoot and address assembly-related issues.
