Pay Range: $54.14 – $71.50/hr (based on qualifications)
Contract Duration: 1 Year
Shift: Initially Day Shift, Transitioning to Second Shift (May include 9–10 hr days, 6 days/week during peak validation)

Join PDS Tech Commercial as an Engineering Specialist supporting one of the most advanced pharmaceutical projects in the country. You'll be a key contributor in launching a cutting-edge sterile purification and recycling isolator system—critical for producing life-changing medications. This is a high-impact, boots-on-the-ground engineering role with a company that's reshaping the future of healthcare.

What You’ll Do

As part of the Indy Site ITOT team, your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the design, installation, and validation of sterile purification and recycling isolators for commercial production.

• Acting as a project team member, collaborating closely with validation and automation teams.

• Transitioning to second shift work to support critical validation timelines.

• Executing and documenting Computer System Validation (CSV) and qualification activities.

• Configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining PLC systems (primarily Siemens; Rockwell a plus).

• Supporting automation systems to ensure compliance with FDA regulations, 21 CFR Part 11, and GMP standards.

• Participating in equipment commissioning and PQ activities with urgency and precision.

What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Automation, or related field with 7+ years of relevant engineering experience OR 10+ years of hands-on experience in the field.

• Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting PLC systems (Siemens preferred).

• Solid grasp of Computer System Validation (CSV) and regulatory compliance.

• Working knowledge of FDA, GMP, and 21 CFR Part 11 regulations.

• Excellent communication and project management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in pharmaceutical GMP manufacturing, including aseptic fill/finish or radio pharmacy.

• Knowledge of ISA 95 and S88 standards.

• Proven success in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
