1st shift opportunity | Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM. Overtime is available.
Pay: $21–$23/hour
Are you a hands-on professional with a passion for quality and precision? We're seeking a skilled Production Technical Operator to join a high-performing team in Tucson, AZ, supporting an industry-leading client in the aerospace and defense sector. In this role, your contributions will directly support the development of innovative technology used in commercial, general aviation, and military applications.
As a Production Technical Operator, you’ll be a key player in the design and manufacturing of complex electronic products. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Manual and automated assembly of aerospace components
Performing machine setups and preventative maintenance
Hand soldering and operation of SMT and inspection equipment
Conducting functional and in-circuit testing
Identifying and troubleshooting assembly issues
Contributing to continuous improvement in quality and efficiency
Collaborating with team members and providing guidance to new operators
You’ll work under general supervision with the flexibility to apply judgment and technical expertise to your daily tasks.
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent
4–5 years of relevant experience in electronic manufacturing
Strong knowledge of SMT processing and soldering specifications
Experience with test fixturing and quality control procedures
Ability to interpret and follow technical documentation
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Proficiency with computer applications (e.g., Excel, documentation systems)
Preferred:
Technical certifications related to electronics assembly
Experience in aerospace or defense manufacturing
Familiarity with preventative maintenance and machine calibration
