About the Role:
As a Machinist, you will play a vital role in assembling, repairing, and fabricating high-quality metal parts that power industries and innovations. This is your chance to bring your technical expertise to life as you work with mechanical equipment and collaborate with a team dedicated to precision and excellence. Your contributions will help build sub-units and complete units while ensuring they meet strict design specifications and tolerance levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble, repair, and fabricate metal parts using advanced mechanical equipment.
Use blueprints and design sketches to ensure the finished product meets required dimensions and tolerance levels.
Work under the guidance of your supervisor to execute tasks with precision and attention to detail.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of assembly projects.
Lift and handle parts, occasionally exceeding 30 lbs, as part of the fabrication process.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 2-4 years of experience in machining, with proficiency in metal fabrication and assembly.
Strong knowledge of mechanical equipment and machining processes.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, design sketches, and technical drawings.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications relevant to machining and fabrication.
Ability to work overtime (40-50 hours per week) as needed.
Familiarity with safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.
