Location: Berkeley, MO | Contract: 12 Months | Pay Rate: $50.69 – $59.26/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Work Environment: 100% Onsite
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a motivated Associate Systems Engineer to support Aero Integration & Verification (I&V) efforts on the cutting-edge T-7 Red Hawk trainer aircraft in the St. Louis region. As part of the Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (SEIT) team, you’ll contribute to a fast-paced, mission-driven program critical to the future of aircrew training and aviation readiness.
Your work will ensure that high-performance aero systems are integrated, tested, and verified to meet demanding military standards—and help launch the next era of aerospace capability.
Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.
Lead aero systems integration and verification testing for flight-critical systems
Develop test plans, readiness reviews, and flight test matrices
Coordinate directly with flight test teams to support test execution, data monitoring, and reporting
Work cross-functionally with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to troubleshoot integration challenges
Analyze test data, identify performance gaps, and recommend improvements or corrective actions
Support the creation of technical documentation including specs, requirements, and validation records
Provide mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to a culture of knowledge-sharing
Attend design reviews and ensure systems are designed for manufacturability and testability
Stay informed on trends and advances in airframe integration and verification practices
Maintain regular progress updates and develop strong working relationships with stakeholders
Bachelor of Science degree (Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related technical field)
At least 2 years of experience in aerospace system integration and verification
Working knowledge of aerodynamic systems, structures, and materials
Experience in test development, execution, and analysis
Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-discipline teamwork
Prior experience on the T-7 program or equivalent aircraft projects
Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and practices
Understanding of FAA, MIL-STD, and other aerospace regulatory standards
Skilled in engineering software for modeling, simulation, or systems analysis
