JOB TITLE: Material Coordinator
LOCATION: San Antonio, TX
PAY RATE: Up to $26/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Are you a U.S. person as defined under ITAR regulations? Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role? Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary?

Summary:

Responsible for coordinating and expediting the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within or between departments based on production and shipping schedules or supervisor priorities.

Coordinate material flow based on job orders and production schedules

Requisition materials and establish delivery sequences to departments

Arrange in-plant transfers and coordinate with departments for repairs, assembly, and transport of materials

Examine delivered materials to verify accuracy

Monitor and control material movement via conveyor systems or manual transport

Maintain production and inventory records using manual or computerized systems

Conduct inventory checks and report damaged or deteriorated materials

Route materials to proper storage and prepare materials for shipment

Order tools, parts, and materials as needed

Maintain compliance with health and safety standards, FOD, tool control, and inventory procedures

Identify and resolve material and schedule-related issues, sometimes requiring in-depth analysis

Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required

4+ years of experience in warehouse inventory, material handling, and parts accountability

Ability to work in various physical environments and wear required safety equipment

Willingness to work any shift as needed

Computer proficiency

Ability to obtain forklift certification

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
