Flight Test Instrumentation Specialist - Onsite

We’re on the hunt for a Flight Test Instrumentation (FTI) Specialist who thrives in hands-on environments and is excited to work on cutting-edge, experimental aircraft.

🚀 What You’ll Be Doing:
🔧 Install, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot custom instrumentation systems for experimental aircraft with meticulous attention to detail.
🤝 Collaborate closely with FTI engineers to develop advanced data acquisition setups, from sensor selection to integration, supporting key certification efforts.
🔍 Conduct rigorous pre- and post-test system checks and calibrations to ensure flawless data capture.
📈 Assist with post-flight data processing and help drive proactive risk assessment and mitigation.

🛠️ What You Bring:
🎓 Bachelor’s in Engineering + 8 years of experience, or Master’s + 6 years.
✈️ Minimum 5 years of hands-on flight test instrumentation experience in the aerospace sector.
⚙️ Deep technical expertise in complex aircraft systems and configuration management.
🧪 Proven skills in installing and calibrating various flight test sensors, including strain gauges, accelerometers, thermocouples, and VDTs.
🔌 Strong proficiency in building connector assemblies, wiring harnesses, and managing airborne telemetry systems.
🛫 Experience instrumenting full aircraft systems from the ground up, including involvement in certification processes.
🔋 Bonus: Familiarity with battery-powered aircraft, unmanned systems, or autonomy technologies.
🛠️ Extra Bonus: Experience with Safran XMA tools and working with regulatory bodies (FAA, TCCA, EASA).
