Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $33.38 - $60.00 (depending on experience)

Be the Driving Force Behind Critical Aerospace Projects

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Project Manager who thrives in fast-paced, high-stakes environments. You'll play a key role on the MELCO Program — a two-phase ammonia cooling system designed for satellites by Mitsubishi Electric. Your efforts will directly support the development, assembly, and testing of flight hardware that powers space exploration.

What You'll Do

As a Project Manager, you’ll combine technical expertise with leadership skills to coordinate and execute key project tasks from start to finish. Your responsibilities include:

• Acting as a key liaison between engineering, supply chain, operations, and quality teams.

• Driving project objectives related to schedule, cost, and technical performance.

• Leading cross-functional technical teams with minimal oversight.

• Managing engineering changes, quality notifications, and technical issue resolution.

• Utilizing tools like Earned Value Management (EVM), risk management, and integrated scheduling.

• Supporting hardware assembly/testing and leading root cause investigations.

• Forecasting project costs, tracking execution performance, and reporting on status and progress.

• Maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and ethical behavior.

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (mandatory)

• Ability to work 100% onsite in Windsor Locks, CT

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Proven project management experience in a technical or aerospace environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP, Windchill, or similar project/engineering systems

• Familiarity with risk management and integrated project planning tools

• Previous involvement in satellite or aerospace system development
