Summary:

Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies, including modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.

Works from diagrams, drawings, and written instructions to complete assemblies.

Responsibilities include making initial layouts, using hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws, and performing continuity checks on in-process and completed work.

May conduct quality inspections on the production line in accordance with established quality specifications.

Could also be required to disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies per specifications and under simulated conditions.

Requirements:

Blueprint reading

Makes wire harness and cable layouts from prints

Cable Harness Assembly

IPC-WHMA-A-620

Use of hand, jigs, and saws and/or power tools

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
