Contract Length: 12 months (opportunity for extension)

Summary:

Perform a variety of assembly operations on electronic and mechanical assemblies, including modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.

Work from diagrams and drawings to make initial layouts and utilize hand/power tools, jigs, and saws.

Conduct continuity checks on work in process and completed assemblies.

Perform quality inspections to ensure adherence to specifications.

Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies as per specifications and simulated conditions.

Required Skills:

Experience with electronic and mechanical assembly operations.

Ability to interpret diagrams, drawings, and specifications.

Proficiency in using hand and power tools, jigs, and saws.

Familiarity with continuity checks and quality inspection procedures.

Ability to work with prototypes and perform rework and modifications as needed.

Desired Skills:

Experience with quality inspections in a production environment.

Ability to work with experimental or prototype assemblies.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
