Summary:

Performs advanced structural assembly tasks, ensuring conformance to specifications while working independently in a team-oriented environment.

The role involves assembly, fitting, riveting, and fabrication of aircraft components, with an emphasis on quality, safety, and meeting customer expectations.

This position may also involve mentoring and assisting team members.

Required Skills

High School Diploma or GED.

4+ years of structural assembly experience.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, lofts, and operational sheets.

Skilled in riveting, drilling, and using various tools for structural assembly.

Ability to work independently and adapt to new tasks with minimal supervision.

Basic computer and shop math skills.

Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces.

Proficiency in using personal protective equipment and adhering to safety protocols.

Desired Skills

Experience with Solumina and Smarteam.

Q-stamp preferred.

Experience with composite resins and materials.

Ability to mentor and instruct team members.

Knowledge of Lean and 5S initiatives for continuous improvement.
