Drafters/CAD technician

Description:
Essential Job Functions:

QuEST Global Outsourcing is in search of a Design Engineer for Sensors and Integrated Systems.

· Detailed working knowledge of historical and current ASME drafting practices.

· Working knowledge of Pro-Engineer Wildfire 4 and PDF editing

· Familiarity with data configuration management systems and tools such as Teamcenter are preferred.

· A working knowledge of mechanical assembly is required.

Specialized Knowledge / Skills

· Compliance with all applicable export and ITAR regulations.

· US citizen or US Person cleared to work on an ITAR programs.

· At least 10 years mechanical design and drafting experience

Education, Training, and Experience

· At least 10 years mechanical design and drafting experience

· Detailed working knowledge of historical and current ASME drafting practices.

· Working knowledge of Pro-Engineer Wildfire 4 and PDF editing

· Familiarity with data configuration management systems and tools such as Teamcenter are preferred.

· A working knowledge of mechanical assembly is required.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

· Mostly Office Environments. Occasional Shop Floor involvement

· Substantial amounts of telephone and computer work.

· Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.

· Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.

· Typical 8 hour days plus lunch / 40 hour weeks

· Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.
