Test Planning and Execution - Systems Engineer
The Skunk Works (Lockheed Martin Advanced Development Programs) is looking for world class talent in Systems Integration and Test (I&T) Engineering to be a part of a team that will carry on our 75 year tradition making history in advanced aircraft development.
The selected candidate will join a Mission Systems (MS) Test Planning and Execution Team within an I&T Organization responsible for the integration and test of supplier procured subsystem equipment that supports the implementation of Mission Systems capabilities. This engineer will be deployed to a subsystem development Agile team and will work directly with the subcontractor as the primary technical interface for integration related activities. Due to the extensive coordination effort required for this position, this engineer must possess strong communication skills and be proactive in addressing issues.
An ideal candidate will either be familiar with or interested in gaining familiarity with how modern tactical aircraft are used in operational environments and comprehending the fundamentals of Airborne Radars, EO/IR Sensors, ESM, EW, CNI, and PVI. For this specific position, a background in RF and or IR avionic subsystems and associated capabilities would be very desirable. Candidate must be open-minded to embracing new approaches to continuously integrating, testing, and delivering aviation mission systems relative to legacy waterfall programs. Candidate should expect to be asked at times to conduct business in vastly revolutionary ways than to which they are accustomed. Candidate must have strong technical background and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The successful candidate will need to pass a security screening as part of the interview process. This position is located at a facility that requires special access and a security clearance.

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelors or Above Degree in STEM Discipline
• Experience with Systems Integration and Test
• Proven Experience Developing and Executing Test Plans and Procedures
• Experience with verification, integration and test processes, and strong lab skills
• Experience with test automation

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with Agile SW Development and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
• A working knowledge of software development, avionics, IT/Infrastructure, systems engineering, or aviation could all prove useful in the collaboration with surrounding disciplines
• Experience with Pilot-in-the-Loop Simulation/Experimentation a plus
• Some level of understanding of Linux with the ability/willingness for on-the-job growth in experience
• First-hand experience coding software a plus for this System Level Test Position
• Experience with GitLab, Atlassian, Ansible, Cucumber Test, 3DX, qTest, C++, XML, or Python a plus
• Current Security+ Certification a plus
• Experience with Rhapsody, MagicDraw, or other model-based software development a plus
• Active Top Secret Clearance w/ last completed investigation in last 5 years
• Willingness for occasional travel (not expected regularly)
