Job Details:
Contract Length: 10 months (opportunity for extension)
Location: 100% onsite in Seattle, WA

Summary:
Research customer design requirements using aircraft wiring diagrams, system schematics, and ICDs
Collaborate with the electrical core team to complete drawing details and release full work packages
Work with shop personnel to build and install the work package
Translate design requirements into cost-effective implementations that meet functional and performance standards
Update test and calibration procedures as needed
Coordinate with operations and software development teams
Assist with work package checkout and support engineers during installation and checkout
Solve complex design problems and develop detailed hardware designs (e.g., electrical assemblies, wiring interconnects, and power control/distribution)
Participate in all hardware development lifecycle phases
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or Chemistry and 9+ years of related experience, or equivalent education and experience (e.g., Master's +7 years or PhD +4 years).
5+ years of engineering experience in design, integration, and/or certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Desired Skills:
Experience with CAD and simulation tools
Ability to coordinate testing requirements and schedules with customers
Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Experience with Raspberry Pi, C#, and Visual Basic Script
