JOB TITLE: Structures Mechanic - F-18
LOCATION: Jacksonville, FL
PAY RATE: $32/hour

Summary:
Repair, modify, and maintain aircraft structures and components, including flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, and fuel systems.
Troubleshooting mechanical issues, interpreting technical documentation (blueprints, manuals), and applying expertise to restore equipment functionality.
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of aircraft mechanical troubleshooting, repairs, and structural modifications
Basic understanding of electrical theory
Proficiency with specialized aircraft tools (test equipment, torque wrenches, micrometers, sheet metal brakes, shears)
Familiarity with technical publications and documentation
Ability to prioritize workload and occasionally lead teams
Regular and predictable attendance required
Overhauling and repairing F-18 EF Trailing Edge Flaps
Required Skills:
Basic proficiency in MS Office Suite
Experience with close-tolerance drilling
Blueprint reading and part location expertise
Education: High school diploma or GED required.
