Job Description:
The R&M Engineer IV is responsible for developing, managing and communicating the reliability & maintainability methodology for a new military development program to internal and external customers.

Positioning Responsibilities:
%u2022 Develop and communicate R&M approach and methodology to management.
%u2022 Determine System level R&M targets and work with IPTs to develop IPT level targets.
%u2022 Work closely with IPTs to review evolving design and provide Design-For-R&M input into their decisions, providing R&M impacts to all Design Decision Notices.
%u2022 Track designs and develop R&M estimates based on preliminary and detail design layouts.
%u2022 Suggest design improvements / spiral opportunities to improve R&M.
%u2022 Coordinate and manage the execution of system level FMECAs
%u2022 Coordinate across design, logistics and maintenance teams to ensure a robust aircraft sustainment plan is established.

Education Requirements:
%u2022 Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace or Systems Engineering is required.

Position Requirements:
%u2022 10+ years aerospace engineering experience.
%u2022 Previous Military Logistics or Maintenance experience is preferred.
%u2022 Must have the ability to communicate efficiently and effectively to coordinate R&M activities, prioritize tasks, and report status.
%u2022 Must be able to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, internal and external suppliers, as well as horizontal integrations across the other teams.
%u2022 Familiarity with aerospace design and verification processes to include; requirements develop and verification, preliminary and detailed design, MRP, Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement and Maintenance processes is preferred.
%u2022 PC proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required.
%u2022 Must have the ability to work effectively within a team.
%u2022 Good interpersonal and organizational skills are required.
