Location: Orlando, FL
Pay Rate: DOE ($17/hr - $23/hr)
Duration: 1 year W2 contract
Shift: First, 9/80, no OT
**MUST be a U.S. CITIZEN**

Job Description:
The position is for a laboratory administrator located within the Mechanical Engineering Labs in the Mechanical Engineering department.
The overall primary job responsibility is to work with labs and internal customers to ensure laboratory work requests are submitted properly, routed to the correct lab, and closed out and archived once the work is complete
A key job function will be to help and support the new electronic work request interface. This will require a working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint design and administration, as well as Microsoft Access database management.
Additional job duties will include placing and tracking purchase requests, managing chemical inventories, and updating individual lab SharePoint websites.
This position is customer focused, highly visible, and will be essential in growing and modernizing lab operations. The position reports to the Test and Special Processes Lab Group Manager, under the ME Labs Senior Manager, operating as a key section of the Mechanical Engineering Directorate within Engineering and Technology.

Basic/Mandatory Qualifications:
• Excellent organizational and clerical skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint, SharePoint Designer, and InfoPath with the ability to become a SharePoint super user.
• Familiarity managing Microsoft Access databases with ability to learn more advanced functions.
• Capable of scheduling, de-conflicting, and coordinating multiple lab activities concurrently.
• Very proficient in computing within a Windows-based MS Office-suite centered environment for communication, scheduling, data processing, and basic data transfer.
• Demonstrated sound writing and verbal communication skills.
• Minimum of a AA degree
• Able to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance.

Desired Skills:
• Demonstrated experience creating, modifying, and managing Microsoft Access databases.
• Demonstrated experience creating, modifying, and managing Microsoft Share Point sites.
• BS degree
• Current DoD Secret clearance.
