Avionics Technician (Contract)

Description:
An Avionics Technician III (Contract) job in Colorado Springs, CO is currently available through Belcan. In this role, you will be responsible to install, test, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft avionics and electrical system components and keeping our aircraft in airworthy condition. To be considered for this role, you will have a High School Diploma or GED with five plus years of experience. You must have an Active Secret U.S. Security Clearance.

Avionics Technician III (Contract Job Duties and Requirements:

* Repair and maintain electronic systems involved with the operation of an aircraft.
* Install, test, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft avionics and electrical system components and keeping our aircraft in airworthy condition.
* High School Diploma or GED required. A higher level degree may substitute for experience.
* Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education.
* Ability to understand an interpret technical schematics and drawings, especially wiring.
* Strong understanding and experience with wiring and wiring repair.
* An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required.
* Basic understanding of spectrometer, Oscilloscope and/or Pitot static equipment.
* Experience with soldering.
