Job Opportunity: Procurement Specialist - Honeywell Aerospace

Location: Onsite at Honeywell Aerospace, Tempe Arizona 85284

Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Shift: 1st Shift, Onsite 5 days/week during training. Possible Hybrid after.

Job Description: Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a dynamic Procurement Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with Lead or Principal Subcontract Specialists to oversee the end-to-end cycle of FAR15 proposals and subcontracts. From proposal inception, fulfillment of sales orders, to negotiating subcontracts or long-term purchase orders with suppliers, you will play a crucial role in driving procurement excellence aligned with program objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate a detailed understanding of the DoD Procurement Life Cycle.

• Execute DoD procurement subcontracting activities in compliance with FAR15 regulations.

• Develop and implement robust negotiation strategies for contracts, ensuring favorable outcomes.

• Deliver compliant FAR15 packages to the government and liaise with the Pricing organization.

• Collaborate closely with program stakeholders to fulfill subcontracts aligned with program requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, L&C, Business, or Finance.

• US Citizenship is required due to contractual requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR).

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.

• Strong negotiation skills and proven ability to implement negotiation processes effectively.

• Previous experience in supply chain management.

• Procurement experience within aerospace technologies or a similar industry.

• Proficiency in managing subcontracts, including FFP, CP, CPIF, etc.

• Familiarity with Truthful Cost or Pricing Data (TCPD) requirements.

• Ability to negotiate favorable terms and conditions for contracts.
