Test Equipment Engineer

Essential Job Functions:

QuEST Global Outsourcing is in search of a Tests Equipment Engineer for Sensors and Integrated Systems.

· Detailed working knowledge of General Test Equipment.

· Utilize microelectronic, electronic, optical, electro-optical, mechanical, or electromechanical equipment, including computers.

· Perform advanced troubleshooting, calibration or modification of hardware, fixtures, and software.

· Apply technical expertise in the evaluation, development, maintenance and use of complex products, devices, tests, or procedures under constantly changing conditions where moderate ingenuity and judgments are required.

· Structure modifications to programs w/ Labview or other SW packages/programs.

· Design simple circuits, fixtures, or mechanical parts.

· Provide technical solutions to engineering.

· Participate on safety initiatives.

Specialized Knowledge / Skills

· Must have experience troubleshooting and the ability to interpret schematics.

· Must have good mechanical and/or electronic (analog and digital) repair capabilities.

· Must be highly motivated and dedicated to exceeding customer expectations.

· Associates/Technical degree and/or equivalent proven experience.

· Critical thinker & able to offer Value Added Solutions.

· 5 - 7 years experience.

· Proficient with standard electrical lab test equipment.

· Basic knowledge of MS Office, and preferred experience in Labview

Education, Training, and Experience

· Electrical/Electronic BSC or equivalent work experience

· Detailed working knowledge of design principals and familiarity with design tools.

· Working knowledge of ESD principles and application.

· Good skills working in the Microsoft Office environment (Excel/Word/Outlook etc).

· Good hand skills and experience with multiple electronic test tools..

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills to be able to communicate effectively with numerous personality types and superb customer-facing skills

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

· Mostly Office Environments. Occasional Shop Floor involvement

· Substantial amounts of telephone and computer work.

· Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.

· Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.

· Typical 8 hour days plus lunch / 40 hour weeks

· Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.
