Aircraft Structural Repair Supervisor position - Everett WA - Long Term

Keltia Design, Inc. is a technical support services company in the Seattle area supplying Aerospace recruiting, CAD training, and engineering CAD design services to customers in the Aerospace industry on a permanent or contractual basis. We have been in business for over 17 years serving the aerospace and other industries around the US, Canada and Europe.

We are looking for a supervisor to manage the quality of work produced by a small group of four Aircraft Structural Repair Mechanics in Everett WA. We are looking for someone with extensive aircraft experience

The Supervisor is responsible for the work performed by the team; his role is to manage the team and be the interface between supplier and Client and shall ensure the completion of the rework in compliance to time and quality requested. Together with the on-site personnel he shall schedule the activities for each rework, detailing resources and timing and updating the plan even in case of recovery-plan. He will also ensure the team has all the skills, tools and instruments required and will respond for any issue related to non-fulfillment of the above mentioned requirements. Notification of rework will be communicated to the Supervisor from the client on-site personnel together with Boeing Supplier Management and according to the disposition of vendor assist called out in SOI.

The Supervisor will be overseeing the following work of the structure repair mechanics and should have similar work experience.

• Skills required to perform reworks; if necessary multi-skill will be requested to guarantee multiple reworks.
• Minimum 10 years of experience working as structural mechanic.
• Typical issues will be related to structural reworks, system installations, finishing.
• Each of the operators will own a stamp to approve the operations.
• Responsible for his work, tools, FOD, as well as for all the prescriptions requested by the Company. Boeing Commercial Aircraft Structural Work and Repairs.
• Must know how to read a Boeing drawing and to work in accord with the Boeing quality procedures.
• The personnel must detain a good working knowledge of aircraft structure.
• Good-understanding of the failure characteristics of the various metals and types of part used in aircraft structure.
