PDS Tech Commercial has just the job for you. In partnership with a leading aviation company here in the Opa Locka/Miami metro area, we are looking to hire Quality Control Inspectors.
Pay rate = $43-45/hour (dependent on experience)
Quality Control Inspector job responsibilities include:
Conduct weighing procedure in accordance with manufacturers recommended practices and procedures
Coordinate inspection activities in compliance with computer tracking maintenance programs (i.e. CAMPS, AVTRAC)
Perform inspection duties utilizing engineering drawings and orders, route cards, inspection travelers, work instructions, technical specifications, QA procedures and instructions, and other related documents
Perform preliminary and progressive inspections of aircraft structure and systems, verify functional operation, final inspections, inspect for FOD and verify paperwork.
Ensure all work packages (orders and forms) as well as records of arrival, maintenance and corrective actions performed, are documented accurately and that all specialized customer (RED, RFE & SRPSA)and regulatory paperwork (FAA, FAR/CAA, etc) is complete and required approvals have been obtained
Perform return to service process and ensure assigned aircraft meets all airworthiness requirements prior to return to service
Qualified candidates must have:
3-5+ years Quality and/or Inspection experience in Aviation industry
A&P license is required
Experience working in a fast-paced environment
Ability to lift 20+ pounds throughout shift (as needed)
Strong working knowledge of inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.)

Pay Details: $43.00 to $45.00 per hour
