Quality Engineer(aerospace)

Description:
Role: Quality Engineer

Location; Cincinnati, OH

Requirements:
•Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, quality, or equivalent training and experience, preferably in the aerospace industry.
•Minimum of 3 years as Quality Engineer II or equivalent experience.
•In depth knowledge of NDT processes and familiarity with the following: welding; heat treating of aerospace alloys; non-destructive testing; shot peening; coordinate measuring machines; inspection methods; and measuring and test equipment.
•Proficient in the use of personal computers, blueprint reading, geometric tolerances, and application of SPC to part characteristics.
•Good interpersonal and communication skills, problem solving skills, and understanding of aerospace requirements.
•Must attend training and earn DQR, DSQR, and/or other customer certifications as required in order to release manufactured parts for shipment.

Physical Requirements:

Normal working environment – standing, sitting, walking – typically inside a building. Occasional stooping, twisting, lifting, bending, and carrying. Minimal or no exposure to excessive noise, dirt, chemicals, extreme temperatures, or hazardous conditions. Continual use of computers
