Sr. Principal Mechanical Engineer with active secret

The selected candidate will conduct structural analysis for space flight or tactical missions and is expected to lead or work with a team of specialized junior and senior structural engineers to evaluate EO/IR hardware designs for static and dynamic environments for strength, fatigue, durability, stiffness, thermoelastic behavior, and other system and sub-system level performance metrics such as Line of Sight. The Sr. Principal Mechanical Engineer is expected to be closely aligned with the Program and is responsible for all phases of the program life-cycle. Minimum of 10 years of experience performing opto-mechanical structural analysis for space or airborne structures. Structural analysis of ground-based systems will not be accepted. Strong knowledge in the use of commercial Finite Element Analysis codes and modelers, preferably NASTRAN/PATRAN
