Manufacturing Specialists III – Assembly

Description:
STS Technical Services is hiring Manufacturing Specialists / Assemblers in Dallas, Texas.

Position Title: Manufacturing Specialists / Assemblers
Location: Dallas TX 75243 (Richardson Area)
Duration of contract: Long Term
Shift: 1st shift – hours 7 am - 4:30 pm

What You'll Be Doing:
Performs advanced-level assembly functions, which may include: prep, semiconductor die mount, mechanical sub-assemblies, dispense applications, and inspection, typically working from models and/or drawings, within Production Control.
Responsibility to include throughput and quality of these operations
Interprets Process Flow Instructions and other written or verbal instructions
Responsible and accountable for producing quality work to prescribed standards, with a focus on continuous improvement to meet customer commitments on schedule, within budget and to SPC standard practices.
Recognize, communicate, and respond to process deviations and help identify root cause and corrective actions.
Must be trained across all assembly stages, work w/Engineering, and the ability to interpret/assemble all units in dept.
Perform all aspects of inspection: in-process, final and source
Must adhere to ESD practices.
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications You'll Need:
High School diploma or GED with 5+ years of experience in specialty area e.g. mechanical or electrical assembly (or equivalent education/ experience in the field or in a related area).
Must be able to work in a clean room environment.
Computer literacy and mechanical inclination.
Skills We'd Love For You To Have:
Clean room experience.
Mechanical Assembly experience.
Familiarity with working under a microscope
Teaming Skills
