Description:
We have an Excellent Direct placement for a Senior Tax Staff to join a leading Company located in the Waxahachie, TX surrounding area.

We are looking for a Senior Tax staff with experience in Detailed Tax Review/Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our team. Candidates must be within 3 hours of the Waxahachie/Dallas area. Our ideal candidate has a minimum of 7 years of experience in Tax and public accounting, specifically with a focus on Taxation. You should be familiar with the real estate industry as well as experience with detailed Tax reviews and research. The ideal candidate should also have experience training staff and managing client projects. Previous work experience, along with a degree in Accounting and a CPA certification, is required for this role. Ultimately, you will play a vital role in our company.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for detailed reviews of tax returns for all return types
Liaise with Tax Accountants to track tax payments and returns
Prepare engagements, prepare tax returns
Keep company financial information confidential
Stay informed on industry developments and changes in regulations skills

Basic Hiring Criteria:
Bachelor's Degree
CPA Certified
Minimum Seven (7) years of experience as a Certified Public Accountant
Minimum three (3) years of accounting skills experience

Desired Qualifications:
Detailed Tax Review of Peers: 3 years (Preferred)
Experience with a detailed review of peers (Not self-review)
Experience with accounting software, like Practice, Onvio, UltraTax, etc., is a plus
Thorough knowledge of accounting and Taxation
Knowledge of Real Estate and Partnership Tax Law and syndicated properties
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
Good communication skills
Self Starter
Organizational Skills
Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information
