Quality Engineer

Description:
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Rate: $49.47/HR
Duration: 6 month contract
Per Diem Split: Yes (if eligible)

****MUST be a U.S. Citizen****
****Bachelor's Degree required****

****Looking for an individual to work at off site location to perform visual inspection of kits and spare parts. The location will be in the Alliance Airport area****

Job Description:
- Researches, plans, designs and develops mechanical products and systems such as instruments, controls, robots, engines, machines and mechanical, thermal hydraulic or heat transfer systems for production, transmission, measurement, and use of energy.
- Applies research to the planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical and/or electromechanical systems, instruments, controls, engines, and/or machines.
- Develop, modify, and apply control systems and protocols for processing materials into partially finished or finished products.
- Collaborates with quality, engineering, planning and manufacturing organization's to ensure quality standards are in place.
- Develop, and implement/or improve current methods and procedures for producing and inspecting precision and accuracy of products and production equipment.
- Designs and analyzes inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment; conducts quality assurance tests; and performs statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for, products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.
- Audits quality systems for deficiency identification and correction.
- Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements.
- May specialize in the areas of design, incoming material, product evaluation and reliability, and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality.
- May be certified in lean and six-sigma quality engineering methodologies.

Education:
- Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years of experience.
